The chief weakness of VZW is middle management. They are spineless and lack integrity. Were they to actually get on board with senior management (both national and regional), the great unwashed (the B2B account executives and managers) might succeed. In the particular, both HR and middle management are clueless when addressing the demands of vertical markets, lumping the performance matrices as if all were performing SMB functions. This is most egregious with Local Government and Healthcare; both of which have longer than normal sales cycles and stricter guidelines and business ethics.
