VR REARCH AND DEVELOPER (Former Employee) –  The University of Hong KongSeptember 24, 2018
5 days work, close relationship in team,many chances are given to you as you can handle a lot of big-scale project on VR developement with varies of company and organization.
The hardest part of the job is lack of human resource and specialists, so you will have to handle many projects at the same time with a very tight schedule.
As the team is small, everyone is busy, you probably cannot find a mentor or getting advice immediately, but it is good for your self-learning process.

Good Welfare
free doctor consultation with pills and free dental service;
Free sport centre with swimming pool
Pros
Flexible working hours, Good Colleague Relationship, Lot of opportunities to work with different projects and exhibitions
Cons

Depends a lot on your boss
Research Assistant (I) (Current Employee) –  Hong Kong, HKJuly 11, 2018
Whether or not it is a good working experience, it depends mostly on the hiring person. In general, I was lucky and my boss is reasonable, and working hour is flexible. However, admin and HR can be rather inefficient, especially when it comes to paperwork and claimant.

All colleagues overworked seriously but the management level could not bother to improve the working environment. Extremely high turnover rate because no one can stand such heavy workload.

Board Member (Current Employee) –  Hong KongAugust 22, 2017
HKU is a top class university in terms of location and it is able to attract many excellent students and faculty. The culture of the university is lively, but the bureaucratic processes could be reduced to make working processes more efficient and adaptive.
