Business As Ususal
Data Scientist (Former Employee) –  金鐘March 29, 2019
The Usual business is that they will hire a back up when renewing contract with existing contractors, you will be fired right after the other renewed. You are useless and disposed of. The manager is proud of this "MBA" street smart.
Liar, no home office.
Office politics.
Body shaming from other contractors.
Too much ad hominem attack.
Friday work till 8 pm is usual.
Pretend hardworking by : sending whatsapp message at 10 pm when the work can be finished before 6 pm.

Productive place to work and develop your career
Duty Manager / Senior Subject Matter Specialist (Current Employee) –  Hong Kong IslandSeptember 17, 2018
working at the service desk, you have the opportunity to serve the customers in resolving their faults through various technologies available. Collaboration is key and you can develop this skill through working with others, globally.

Great if your Auzzie or want an easy life
Enterprise Solution Architect (Former Employee) –  Hong Kong, HKMarch 16, 2018
Management is very happy dominating their home market of Australia and very little else. They lack vision and leadership in international markets,, and are very happy to be mediocre.
Service management is almost non-existent, SLA's are a joke and KPI's are non-realistic. Will follow Cisco any and every where.
Great international backbone, largest sub-sea cable provider, one of the few carriers to own their own internet gateways globally, great healthcare...
Pros
Healthcare benefits
Cons
Short-sighted management

Australian centric, extremely bureaucratic and political
Senior HR business partner (Former Employee) –  Hong Kong IslandFebruary 27, 2017
Would not recommend anyone thinking of working here unless you are Australian or white. 90% management Australian white male. No job security for anyone else. Managers do not adhere to their so-called company values.
Cons
Extremely bureaucratic and political; no job security; Australian white dominance

Senior Financial Analyst (Current Employee) –  Wan ChaiOctober 15, 2015
Relatively work life balance, but Company is too stable and have no promotion opportunity if you are below manager grade when joined. Credit will only be given to managerial grades but not the actual preparer. The Company likes to externally hire a manager/ a senior manager but seldom consider internal promotion.
Pros
Flexible working hours
Cons
NO promotion opportunities

Telstra International is a great company and I am lucky to have been worked under the Legal & Regulatory Department
Senior Administrator, Legal & Regulatory (Former Employee) –  Hong Kong, HKIOctober 6, 2014
Given my extensive experience and skill set, I have had the opportunities to perform a number of tasks which is way above the regular executive and administrative role in the L&R Department. Strong trust and respect being built with the Director of L&R as well as with team members. I did outperform everytime without disappointment. Even if the task is not within my responsibilites, e.g. organize the travel logisitics of the Chairman and the Board of Director for the parent company for their yearly visit to our subsidiaries in the AsiaPacific regions. Though tough and hard (working days and nights preparing the information packs, arranging hotel and local transport, coordinating the customers visits, etc), the trips were successful and highly appraised by the Chairman and the Board. Words can't express the cognitive satisfaction I have had.
Pros
Got job recognition and satisfaction
Cons
not well balance life and work
