- three meeting everyday.
- prolong meeting and discussion that you may have time to exercise what right to do.
- senior management wish to propel and improve the company operation, however, due to inexperience staff, action taken before a comprehensive strategy studied.

Chef de Partie (Current Employee) –  Chek Lap Kok, New TerritoriesDecember 29, 2019
For this day age this company is the best situation I can have. It is nearby and the benefits are tremendously generous. The salary may be a bit low on the payscale but so far it is a very stable company to work for.

Great exposure but a lot of office politics
Staff (Current Employee) –  Hong KongDecember 12, 2019
One of the world’s biggest airline group with many operations where you can meet a lot of people and learn things. But management and peers are keen in office politics instead of improving their knowledge. Low pay and slow promotion.

Pilot (Former Employee) –  Hong KongOctober 24, 2019
Poor communication between management and employee. Cutting cost in sacrifice of employee's well-being. Poor working culture as steep gradient from manager to subordinates.

Solid airline where the money is good and you can have time off. Gives you ability to travel and see different places. Fairly inflexible in terms of fleet assignment.

Interesting work. Able to meet people with different cultures. Sad to say that management is bad. They only think about cutting costs which make the working environment worse.

Cathay Pacific is a great company based in Hong Kong, providing excellent flying experiences to travelings around the world. Starting from the check in to lounge, moving on to the inflight food and beverage/ inflight entertainment, CX is one of the best airline in the world. The cabin crews are super nice and friendly , always seeking out helping the passengers to enjoy the flight throughout the flight.

Good work-life balance and decent culture. Upper management is rotated into and out of some departments quite frequently though. It is not an easy task for them to adapt to the specific culture of that department while handling job responsibilities.

Shaping you for a good character
Flight Attendant/Purser (Former Employee) –  Hong KongDecember 14, 2018
I love the multicultural community that Cathay Pacific has. Starting from more than ten nationalities of the flight attendants that the company hires, we learned how to blend in and respect other cultures from the first day of the training. Living in Hong Kong was also a fun and learning experience, as well as the great opportunity to see the world while working. As a young graduate from college, the company had helped to shape me up with a good discipline, systematic work and service mind.
Pros
a great opportunity to see the world
Cons
hard to keep up with long-project schedule, (e.g. persuing higher education while working)
