EPS Company (Hong Kong) Ltd, a unit under Personal Financial Services, is a consortium of 21 major banks in Hong Kong. Nominated as its management bank, HSBC is responsible for EPSCO’s business operations. EPSCO’s mission is to provide greater convenience for customers and merchants via wider use of electronic fund transfers, and it has developed many services, including EPS and PPS, to facilitate fund transfer among merchants and consumers.
We are now inviting an experienced and motivated professional who comprehends the credit card industry and has the drive to achieve business targets to join our dedicated team.
Work to achieve EPSCO’s individual and team targets, including independently developing and implementing sales plans to recruit new profitable merchants, maximising the transaction volume of existing merchants, minimising merchant/terminal attrition as well as achieving year-on-year merchant income growth
Manage and cement merchant relationships and acquire additional business from existing merchants
Review and analyze merchant transaction data on a regular basis and recommend action when necessary
Be independently responsible for after-sales follow-up activities and administrative tasks and handling phone-in enquiries
Collect competitive information on market trends and new industry developments and proactively propose actions to maintain business growth
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all account openings and operations comply
with internal requirements
Attend all necessary sales meetings and training
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Form 7 or above, with a tertiary-level education preferred
Minimum of five years’ sales working experience, preferably within the banking and financial industry; knowledge of the credit card industry would also be a plus
Well-developed command of English and Chinese, both written and verbal
Good account servicing, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Aggressive, self-motivated and result-oriented mindset
Proficient PC knowledge in common software (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and under pressure
